John, originally hailing from Southern California became tired of the perpetual sun and decided on a professional career in New England. His love and proficiency in theater design made him a natural for designing the most notable hospitality venues. John first joined JBD JGA in 2003. After 7 years, John decided to expand his horizons through a partnership in MND, a most notable and revered restaurant design firm. After more than 6 years broadening his design experience and expertise, John has recently returned to JBD JGA to become one of the leaders of the interior design department. He will share responsibility for all aspects of the operations of the interior design department and b project creativity. In his “spare time” John has had a constant curiosity and a love of travel with a willingness to try just about anything. He loves classic cars and is a certified scuba diver. He has run with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain, gone paragliding in the Alps, rappelling and spelunking in California and camping on the beach in Mexico. John and his wife Karen met in college and have been married since 1995. They have one son whose name was picked with help from his team members voting on a list of 8 different names.
