Summary

Located just outside of Boston with a breathtaking view of the city skyline, the historic Oakley Country Club features yet another Donald Ross course design. The clubhouse found itself in desperate need of infrastructure upgrades as well as a reorientation of the member spaces to better satisfy their members’ desire to utilize their club. Beginning with a master plan which was overwhelmingly approved in late 2017, the club expedited major renovation to virtually the entire clubhouse. Beginning with architectural improvements to the front façade, the project included a brand-new member dining complex with expanded and relocated bar, family and adult dining options and an enlarged outdoor dining deck. In addition, the program provided a complete makeover to the 19th Hole, a member favorite as well as redecoration of the ballroom and a spectacular new pre-function area complete with a dramatic grand stairway.
